Hello everyone.. how you're doin?
I hope everyone in DA are fine.

It's been a while I'm not uploading my photos, or commenting, or making journal since December. It's not because I'm busy (well, I'm writing thesis proposal now, but I don't count it as busy), but I've lost my senses in DA. I had took lots of new pictures, but felt so lazy to upload it in DA.

I owe much from this site. I learn arts from talented people here. I produce arts from scratch, from mm.. bad-quality image, into something I could proud of (though I still learning). But I miss the old DA. I truly miss times when I had to make sure hundreds of time that my picture are suit enough to upload in this site. I miss times when photography and arts are not a way to be looking cool, popular, or just for fun and neglecting the quality itself. I miss times when people actually making comments for real and fill with critiques. I miss times when people are not thinking about popular-popular-popular, but just thinking about how can I make a wonderful arts. I miss times when front page were filled with a jaw-drop arts, and photography rules DA. I miss times when there are no ripping issues in DA. I miss times when .. I got scared to upload my image in DA.

I know I'm complaining too much, but dude.. I truly miss the old DA.

I'm leaving DA but doesn't mean I will erase everything from here. Again, I owe DA so much. But right now I'm just looking for a better site for me to get more critiques so I could learn more and more in arts.

My arts will more active in artlimited.net, and other sites (continuing my Flickr account), or through my Vox blog.

I'm not urge you to leave DA.. Noo.. Don't! DA are a great site, promise you, but somehow.. maybe I just want some 'fresh air'. That's all. It's sad.. but I need to find other place to learn.
